1. Who we are
Duval Jewellery (ABN 66 810 535 391), Shop 8, Street Level, 250 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Duval Jewellery. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
When you use our enquiry form: your name, email, phone (optional), the piece you are interested in and your message. When you visit the website, our host may process basic technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
3. How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange viewings and, if you become a customer, to provide our products and services. We don’t sell personal information.
4. Contact form
Our website does not store the details you submit through the contact form. They are sent to our business email inbox ([email protected]). On the way, your details pass through Cloudflare’s global network, which may process them outside Australia (for example in the United States), but Cloudflare does not keep them for us.
Our Visit & Contact page includes an embedded Google map, which loads content from Google and is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a purchase: up to 12 months, after which we delete them. Customer records: as long as needed to provide our services and as required by law.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
7. Security
We use reasonable steps to protect information, including encryption in transit and multi-factor authentication on our business email.
8. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a complaint, by email at [email protected] or through our contact form. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
